We’re losing the art of getting lost.

When was the last time you got lost in a book; lost on a country road; lost in conversation; lost with your imagination?

These days it’s pretty hard to get lost because we are constantly on the go, inundated with information about where we are, where we should go, what’s around us, what to think, and what to do next. With GPS and an unlimited data plan on your phone you might never get lost again.

That’s too bad, because;

Getting lost changes our relationship with time.

Getting lost invites us to experience vulnerability.

Getting lost gives us an opportunity to reach to others for help.

Getting lost opens up the possibility of discovering something new.

Getting lost means nobody knows where you are!

What might you find if you got lost more often? What would you need to change in order to get lost again?
