Ken Blanchard is a leadership guru, a model of servant leadership, and an inspiration to millions with his history-making iconic book, The One Minute Manager, which has sold more than 13 million copies worldwide.

In the past three decades Blanchard has authored or coauthored 60 books whose combined sales total more than 21 million copies. In 2005 Ken was inducted into Amazon’s Hall of Fame as one of the top 25 bestselling authors of all time.

I’ve had the good fortune to hear Ken speak several times, and meet him at the 2015 and 2016 World Leader’s Conference. (I wrote three blogs capturing wisdom from the inspiring speakers at this conference. Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 3)

Over the years Ken’s message for leaders has evolved to include more compassion to balance accountability. Without real caring, a leaders’ influence will always be limited. I’ve been so inspired by his message of compassion in leadership that I made a point of Ken about my new book, Conflict Without Casualties. To my surprise and delight, Ken was genuinely interested and affirmed the work we were doing at Next Element. I asked him if he’d take a look at the manuscript and he graciously obliged.

Here’s what Ken had to say about the book,

“Who could ever think of conflict as creative? Nate Regier, that’s who. In Conflict without Casualties, Nate introduces the concept ofcompassionate accountability—holding someone, including yourself, accountable while preserving their dignity. His strategies are effective at work and at home, at every level. Don’t shy away from conflict—face it with creativity and compassion and watch things change for the better.”

Thank you Ken, for your inspiring work, and for your support of our work.
